General Maintenance Work Leader

- Responsible for review, modification, scheduling and application of routine preventive maintenance procedures and techniques used on general maintenance equipment, structures and grounds associated with hydroelectric powerplants and dams, water conveyance facilities, recreation and resource areas. - Work with and follow safety standards, regulations, codes and accepted trade practices and be familiar with necessary publications and how to reference them. - Procure or assist with procurement of materials, tools, equipment and supplies needed for execution of the work; maintains a listing of material suppliers and/or manufacturers for both routine and specialized products, tools and equipment; utilize the most cost-effective, yet timely, sources for procurement within accepted procurement guidelines; track progress of items procured by incumbent's crew and other crews; and stage specialized materials for upcoming jobs in a designated area, prior to commencement of the work. - Monitor the sharing of specialized equipment between field offices to insure the availability of needed equipment, based on the schedules and makes recommendations to Facility Manager on how to accommodate unusual personnel or equipment needs at other Area Office facilities. - Perform a variety of trade disciplines, such as carpentry, painting, equipment operation, concrete placement, welding, plumbing, and general mechanics. - Construct and maintain roads, grounds, interior and exterior of buildings and dams including work in and around power plants and related fixtures, waterways, and control structures. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
